Obamacare Fuck Up

As you know Ive been a big supporter of Obamacare. Not because of what it is exactly, but because of what it represents and because it's a big step in the right direction.

It looks like Obama has fucked up. It looks like he lied about people being able to keep their plans if they are happy with them which he declared all along. Turns out a shitload of people don't have plans that qualify for the new insurance law.

So once again the public is duped by an Obama lie. He swore government would be more transparent and it isn't that's for sure. He just took the Bush Cheney agenda and ran with it.

Now is it as bad as people will claim it to be? No. Not even a million people will have to change their coverage, but that is more than too many. Most will be able to keep it as it is.

Too many of us refuse to go against their party even when they are wrong. I don't have a party, I have issues I believe in so there is not an ounce of loyalty in me towards any political affiliation. I just side with the left on more issues than the right.

So maybe some of you (coughing) might wanna try and think outside of your political bubbles.

I hope they turn the insurance around because it's doing nothing more than making them and those of us who have stuck our necks out look bad.

I can't wait to watch Bill Maher discuss this on Friday lol

Yes, it's true, Obama fucked up and I'm sure he will be painted as having willingly lied, though I doubt that charges veracity. None the less, people are losing their coverage and that's unacceptable. How it plays out in the long term may be surprising, the ones losing coverage may end up with better coverage for less, in the short term we've got right-wing outlets trumpeting the cancellations, trying to make it out to be a bigger fuck up than it actually is. Obama's fuck up doesn't justify defunding Obamacare, nor do the problems the website has been having. What they're not telling is that the states that setup their own insurance exchanges haven't had any problems with signups. Medicare Part D didn't roll out perfectly, and we're still waiting on those Iraqi WMD's, point being, it's not a big surprise that The ACA is having growing pains.

Thanks wdoall. I forgot about that. I thought that there were other reasons to be weary of the ACA but I'll let them go and ride with that. I am a good Republican minion.

I will defend Obama on this note. All of his Internet support for election was generated with the help of the finest people in the industry. He didn't use these same people to build the ACA website. Not allowed to do so. At least he followed the rules in this respect.

growing pains is what this is. it's clearly more popular than you guys said it would be or it wouldnt be getting bogged down. and there are many states that it works just fine. florida being one of them.
