I am a very happy girl! Tonight I will be attending my very first Duke game ever, and it will be at Cameron Indoor Stadium! Premium Link Upgrade

Duke plays Alabama-Birmingham tonight... let's see Coach K gain another win and get closer to beating Coach Knight's number. ;)

Give the Harvard Crimson some props. They beat the BC Eagles, third straight time, with the help of Rivard and Wright. Coach Amaker also has the team practicing free throws until 3 in the morning. And it's working!!

Nice hard-fought win by the Central Flordia Knights over Marshall - I can only imagine what kind of reception the current UCF skipper Donnie Jones will hear at Marshall on March 5th when he visits the school he once coached before leaving for UCF.

Uh, you will refer to him as The General, Sir Robert Montgomery Knight. He's still very revered by folks here in Indiana. And that's coming from a Boilermaker.

And speaking of Boilermakers, it was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless tonight in Happy Valley. Our leading scorer (and my avy) E'Twaun Moore was held to just four points. Finally someone else stepped up to carry the load. Ryne Smith was 5-5 from beyond the arc and had 20 points. I can see us beating everyone in the Big Ten except the Buckeyes. They will dominate us on the inside.

Imagine this team with Robbie Hummel. :(

We just refer to him as a fellow Buckeye over here.

It's all right. When he was coaching at IU, I mostly called him dickhead. I fucking hated him, but I had to respect him as a coach.

The most overrated team in the country, Memphis, got ******** by a reeling Tennessee squad. Memphis falls flat against good competition and barely beats the cupcakes on their schedule. I have no idea why they have been ranked all these weeks.

Yeah...they remind me of Stanford come tournament time.

Interesting stats about the Vols this year: Tennessee is now 3-0 against ranked opponents and 7-4 against unranked opponents (wins over No. 5 Pittsburgh, No. 7 Villanova and No. 21 Memphis, and losses to unranked Oakland, unranked Charlotte, unranked USC and unranked Charleston).

They're pretty much team with an "on/off" switch.

The Illini are picking up a lot of steam lately - let's see if they can stay consistent and stay competitive on the top if the Big Ten standings.

I'm not sure about that, it doesn't take much to beat Memphis. Tennessee State, Corpus Christi, and Arkansas State damn near did it. Those are worse teams than the ones that beat Tennessee.

You gonna make me? ;) He's Coach Bob Knight. That's all that needs to be said. :)

Hope you're enjoying the game right now, Jinxy.

I had an AMAZING time!!! :D
I hope to go back again this season, but that may just be a fantasy. I mean, it took me 31 years to get there the first time, what's 31 more?
