Defense you say? Yeah, it's great defense when the team you're playing can't hit any open shots.Very disappointing game (and I had no horse in this race....was just hoping for an entertaining game. It wasn't). If this is how "real" basketball is supposed to be played, I hope I never see another game. :eek:
Great win but definitely NOT a great game.
Anthony was dead-on. The game was one of the worst I've ever seen at any level. I've seen junior high teams shoot better than Butler did. Connecticut played like shit too....they should have won the game by 30 points the way Butler was throwing up bricks all night.
Congrats to the Huskies but what a horrible exhibition of what was supposed to be championship-level basketball by the (allegedly) 2 best teams in the nation.
I'm glad someone else sees it my way. I thought I was crazy when izabelplayer said that was how basketball should be played. 18% shooting?? Ha ya that's real basketball.
