Quite irrelevant and impertinent points on both counts. Kiss the rings.

P.S. I love the Twins and Justin Morneau is my favourite player, but that has nothing to do with calling Ortiz a grade-A loser.

Well, at least we don't have any juicers on our team (well, maybe Thome, but the jury's still out on him). Ortiz is without question a juicer as was Manny when they won. Fucking cheaters.

I completely agree that they were both juicers, but you have no idea who might or might not have been juicers on the Twins at the same time. They ALL could have been for all we know. That's how prevalent it was. Obviously not likely, but there's virtually no chance that the whole team was clean, it's a virtual guarantee that there were at least a few juicers on the Twins back then. I have no love for Manny or Ortiz for cheating like they did, I have no respect for anyone who used steroids.

One word: asterisk (as in Teams that won with juicers). You can't claim any of the Twins were guilty of anything (well, aside for Ortiz who we got rid of). You can't make generalizations. And IMO, Mauer will go down as one of (if not the) greatest players in MLB history because after he breaks numerous records his record off the field will be just as impressive.

after watching the A's vs Angels last night i think they both have bullpen concerns but nothing like the Orioles have, they would have 3 more wins if thier closer hadn't blown those saves

It would help the A's if our two best bullpen guys weren't hurt.

Holy ass ****** monkeys, the Jays are 5-1. How sad is it that this is probably going to be the highlight of the year for me?

Seriously, don't they pull like 5k a game? It just brought back a memory about why some Candian clubs folded; the players demand American dollars Although I thought the Candian dollar was worth more than ours now.

No, that was the Expos. Last season the Jays averaged about 23,000 per game; better than Tampa, amazingly. Course, it doesn't seem like a lot when they play in a 55,000 seating stadium, but I digress.

I saw them last year agains the Twins and there sure as hell didn't look like many in the crowd.

well that's true the A's are missing 2 of thier best bullpen pitchers. Tyson Ross looks like the real deal so far. will the Astros owner please Realize the the window is shut and he needs to blow up the team and get a talanet infusion

I like Tyson Ross a lot, I really do and I'm very impressed with what I've seen so far, but I have absolutely no idea what he's doing on the Major League roster right now. The guy literally has zero experience as a reliever and literally all of his value as a prospect is as a starter. I know he's only up until Wurtz/Devine get activated, but it seems like such a waste at this point.

Shayd you may be right but i think facing Major Leauge batters might acclerate his arrival as starter remember Nolan Ryan and Jim Palmer spent thier first in the bigs in the bullpen
