Mrtrebus, That's why I said used to. I don't any more.

You need to send that verse to banks, insurance companies, police, every government official and politician, and many others who could actually benefit from those words. :hatsoff:

I've seen that a couple times. And its usually some idiot that claims they've done nothing wrong. I laugh at these people because its usually something stupid they're stealing that they don't need anyway.
To each their own, I suppose.

Only if they believe in god. & "used to" is irrelevant. You are a sinner! Say hello to Satan when you meet him & enjoy the pitchforks up the arse!

OK, I'm now confused. Which Jesus do you support. On one hand you have previously banged on about the "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a *****" version full of wrath & unforgiveness & now when it suits you go for the forgiveness version?!?
Face it. You are a sinner! You say you used to steal, but the wink at the end of your claim that "...I was never caught" shows you feel no remorse for your past midemeanours.
Your destiny is to burn in eternal *******.
Accept your fate my ***.
:thefinger

Well, until Jesus comes down (or up or from wherever he is at the moment) forgives you and someone writes about it, you are still a thief. Granted, you've retired from stealing. But that is the same argument that most people give when they get caught. Its not a first time offense, its the first time they got caught.

When I used to work in retail that happened every day... I helped the "undercover" lost prevention people every now and then... The saddest part was the parents reaction when they picked them up.

I never pay for flowers, there always seem to be free ones tied to lampposts & railings near roads where the cars zoom along at life threatening speeds with little care for pedestrians!

The vast majority of people that I know that are government officials or elected officials are honest, hard working, people who care about bettering their community. The work un godly hours for little appreciation or compensation. When judgment day comes, the people who dedicated their lives to helping others will be way ahead in line of a common thief.
