It sounds to me like someone got a 'Get out of Hell Free' card and plays it at least three times a day. Either way, I think people that steal are most likely the ones to scream for the death penalty when the something meaningless happens to them...

i did once. i was desperate for a few bucks and a friend of mine wanted a cd walkman. offered me $40 if i got one for her. so into target i go. found the nicest one i could see, shoved it under my armpit in my jacket and walked out. alarm went off but i didnt stop. my girl at the time was in the car waiting. off we drove. got my $40 bucks. funny thing is, when the friend opened it, she found the factory forgot to install the disk reading lazer. even funnier, i called them for her, and talked em into doin an instore exchange for it. it was rediculous. that was all like 9 years ago and id never do it again. too much to lose now.
