Ohio State will be a 17 point underdog and they will get rolled. Texas could claim the AP National Title if Florida loses to Okie. Texas will come to play and put up a big number against the Luckeyes.

You need to drop the Luckeyes term, you are a better NCAA viewer than that.

As some else pointed out, nobody hung such a term on Oklahoma 2004-05.

Alright Okie statistically might be the greatest offense ever in COllege football now. They just put the 61st point on Mizzou. 5th straight game they've put 60 on somebody. That's not bad. ****!

I still think Colt McCoy will win the Heisman....

I might have to rethink my initial leans for Okie v Florida.....damn.

florida's going to be favored...and i think bradford is going to win

actually bama had the gator d on the ropes in the 3rd quarter...but the 4th quarter came and the gator d stepped up...they showed a stat...-9 yards in the 4th quarter for bama...

I was making a general point meaning 2nd half of the game. Sorry 20-17 in the 3rd is not on the ropes.

Still a dominate 4th quarter...

How else do you explain what OSU is doing in the BCS this year? They did nothing on the field to warrant inclusion. They almost lost to Ohio U at the Shoe!

(L U C K E Y E S :thefinger)

They haven't exactly performed up to expectation in BCS games either ya know;)

Personally...I think Ohio State suffers from too long a layoff from the their last game of the season and the BCS. They haven't played since what...Nov 22? They need to put a bye week between the OSU/Michigan game...

Well, that should pretty much do it. Florida vs. Oklahoma in the BCS national championship game next month. I still think Florida should be favored and that they should win, but mostly I'm hoping for a good game!!

anything like the usc vs texas game of 05...that would be awesome

Tebow is only a Junior. Will he come out for the NFL Draft or come back for his Senior season (pull a Leinart)?

if he wins the heisman and the title...he's heading for the nfl...he has nothing left to prove...only to try and repeat

Forget Florida!!! I wanna play Texas again! I want revenge!
I still can't get the fact that Texas beat Oklahoma in the head-to-head matchup out of my head, leading me to believe that Texas, not Oklahoma, should have been the one kicking the crap out of the Tigers tonight. On the other hand, the Sooners scoring 60 or more points in 5 straight games, an NCAA record (at least for the top level of football), IS impressive. Maybe there SHOULD be a Texas vs. Oklahoma rematch...with the winner to play Florida for the national championship in January.

nope
i follow this team closely
i know he enjoys it way too much in college and i can say that i am 99.9% sure he is staying for his senior season

I agree. I think he heads to the NFL. He has a lot of development though to become an NFL QB. Nobody runs the spread in the NFL...

what does he have left to prove? get hurt and more hits on his body? he has a national championship under his belt 06...and has a heisman...and he's going to play in another title game...the smart thing to do, is to go pro

If you read my posts I dont feel that the Buckeyes deserves a BCS spot.

I agree they dont do well after a long lay off in the Big 10 Season since 2002.

The Buck's have been in the Top 25 every year since 1938 except 3 years.

:thefinger

2 Years do not define a team trendy boy.. :glugglug:

I heard a rumor that Tebow was going to be a special character in the Mortal Kombat/DC Universe computer game....true or false?????

lol...idk

hes having so much fun
i dont think he goes pro after this year
i wouldnt rule it out
i just highly doubt it

What did Pryor do against USC? He ran to the sideline on a 3 and out because SC clowned The Ohio State University. Pryor was in over his head against SC. The SC loss to oregon state is not exactly surpising because USC blows a conference game every year. However, oregon state rallied after that big win and had a respectable season...although they came down to earth against the Ducks.

Penn State ****** badly against Iowa--a nothing team. Florida got punked by Ole Miss--a nothing team. Great teams lose to chumps in CFB. It happens.

USC's defense is the best in the nation. There isn't another Defense that's really even in the discussion. I would put Florida's D at #2. USC didn't even fucking blitz today because they didn't have to. It was obvious ucla was not capable of winning the game. USC's offense is another story and I'm not certain how our Offense will do against a good Defense like Penn State. I could see Mark Sanchez throwing INTs. I do not believe USC is worthy of slipping by Texas for the NC game should Okie chokie. But Okie is putting a beatdown on Mizzou and they will be playing Florida for the NC.

I really think it's a close matchup. I give a slight lean to Okie for offense but a wider lean to Florida for Defense. It should be a 6 pt line I bet...maybe a Florida 6 pt edge because the game is in Miami. But I do think Okie's offense is the best in the nation and could win the game. Sam Bradford looks much more polished than Jason White ever looked.
In fairness, I think the Buckeyes might have fared better against the Trojans earlier this year had Terrell Pryor had more experience going into that game, though I'm not sure even that would have been enough to get the Buckeyes a victory that night. But the final score might have been at least a little closer. I think USC's gonna pound Penn State in the Rose Bowl just as they have pounded all the other Big 11 teams they've played since Pete Carroll became their coach but I agree that Sanchez has his weaknesses and that might help keep the 2009 Rose Bowl closer than it really should be. Oklahoma scoring 60 or more points in an NCAA record 5 straight games IS impressive, but I think that Florida has the better all-around team and that's why I think that the Florida Gators will become national football champions for the second time since Urban Meyer became their coach. Not bad for a guy who was coaching Bowling Green less than a decade ago, wouldn't you say?
