'Bama will get a BCS bowl if it loses to Florida next week. They're 'bama, they went unbeaten through their regular season schedule, and they're the current #1 team in the country. The only way I can see the Crimson Tide NOT getting a BCS bowl bid this season is if Florida smokes 'em. I mean, kicks 'em to ***** by something like 52 - 10, or something like that. But unless something like that happens, I think the Crimson Tide will get a BCS bowl bid after next Saturday's game no matter what happens during it.

Right. But under the current rules no more than one team from a "non-BCS" conference can play in a "BCS bowl" and since Utah is ranked ahead of Boise State in the BCS right now and since neither of those teams have any regular season games left, it looks very much like Boise State is going to be "left out in the cold," so to speak, which they should be with that weak-ass schedule they play every season. Also under current rules, any one conference can have no more than two teams invited to play in BCS bowls, so out of that list not only does that exclude Boise State from going to a "BCS" bowl this year, but also Texas Tech (as the lowest-rated of the three teams from the Big XII that are currently in the BCS top ten). So since the ACC champions and the Big East champions are automatic entries into the BCS mix, it looks like you won't be seeing Boise State or Texas Tech in a BCS bowl this season. Maybe they can be set up to play each other in some "non-BCS" bowl, eh?AP Top 10

Let's let those who haven't seen the polls look at this and let it sink in.
Yeah, and we all see how much "head-to-head" helped Texas out this year, right?Yesterday they interviewed some NCAA coach--I can't remember who it was--and he said that we already have head-to-head competition within conferences as it is. He can't see how a playoff system would be any different.
I neither know nor care. I'm not really a fan of the Florida Gators so even though I'm picking them to beat Alabama in 5 days, it doesn't necessarily mean that I want them to. I heard over the weekend that losing him would be a pretty big blow for Florida, and that's probably true, but I think they can beat 'bama either with him or without him. My guess is that since it's the SEC championship game we're talking about, unless he can't even walk by Saturday, he'll play, at least some.Do you think Percy Harvin will play in the SEC champion game.
If you have to ask that question then it seems pretty obvious that you have no real desire to answer the original question, just to increase your post total, you troll. You're worthless, and your posts, by and large, are meaningless. I wish you'd quit posting here since it's obvious you aren't really engaged in the topics at hand.what team does he play for
We don't care what you think, troll. I hope you get ****** soon.I follow teams not names. some names stick some don't, I look at different play books hear different scores. Therefore I could answer the question. Please continue
I don't follow the Florida Gator football team particularly closely, but I DO follow college football, in general, pretty closely, and I know who Percy Harvin is. He happens to be one of the top players for the Florida Gators right now (I bet you can't tell us which position he plays without looking it up, troll). So the very fact that you have to even ask that question proves that you don't follow "teams" all that closely in college football because if you did you'd know who he is. You're just another one of those ding dongs trying to get in as many posts as possible in as many threads as possible without having the slightest idea what the topics are in most threads you visit. As I stated above, I hope you get ******, and soon, because your "contributions" to this forum are negligible, at best.I follow teams not names. some names stick some don't, I look at different play books hear different scores. Therefore I could answer the question. Please continue
Exactly. Which pretty much proves that the ding dong who asked that question doesn't really watch much college football, doesn't it?^Did this dude just ask who Percy Harvin plays for? If you watch 5 minutes of college football you would know the answer to that question.
And as for whether or not Harvin will play in the SEC championship, I think the answer is yes. He will suit up for the game but he will play a limited role, mostly as a decoy. Just ******* the Alabama defense to account for PH will open up space for other players.
