"Fl, just loads up on there right and sends there running back up the middle. auburn should run only one linebacker and and extra linemen. there safety and corners should be able to cover the plays well, the prevent is what is stopping them from winning the game
i haven't played madden in a while but I'm undefeated..
The Beavers are this close to going to the Rose Bowl - I expect them to win tonight. But I won't be all that surprised if the Ducks upset them and knock them out of the Rose Bowl (I don't like the Ducks. Go Beavers!!).Texas Tech just beat Baylor closer than I though I think that will hurt them in the BCS the Oregon-Oregon State game is about to start I got Oregon 31-30,what about you guys.
'bama did well today, but the truth is that the Auburn Tigers aren't really all that good this year and you had to figure that after 6 straight losses to them the Crimson Tide weren't interested in letting that streak get to 7 against an Auburn team that's been so anemic on offense. After seeing both Alabama and Florida today I can't, in good conscience, pick 'bama to win next Saturday. I just can't. In fact, not only do I think the Gators are going to win next Saturday, I think they're going to, as I've heard Chris Fowler say in ESPN's "College Gameday" a few times (with something that I think he borrowed from Georgia or Tennessee), "kick 'em to *****!!" I expect the Florida Gators to beat previously unbeaten Alabama pretty soundly next Saturday. By at least 17 points, and quite possibly a whole lot more!!Anyone watching the Alabama-Auburn game it looks likes Bama has taken control of it. Bama play like that against Flordia, the Gators will beat them by 40,it looks like Bama is having trouble scoring but that has been there problem this year at times.

Texas is in a little bit of trouble as far as making it to the Big XII title game goes. Since Baylor couldn't hold its 14 point lead that it had at one point on Texas Tech today, if Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma then Texas Tech will go to the Big XII championship game by virtue of its head-to-head win over the Longhorns (the Sooners would then have 2 Big XII losses and would be out of the running for the championship game). If the Sooners beat the Cowboys then it will come down to the voters and the computers to see which team will face Missouri in the Big XII championship game since at that point the Big XII South team that is the highest ranked one within the BCS after this weekend's games is the one that will play Missouri next Saturday. That's the way the Big XII breaks three-way ties in football, apparently. I still think that Texas, overall, is the best team in the Big XII South, but its chances of playing Missouri next Saturday are currently looking a little thin. They probably need a CLOSE Oklahoma win over Oklahoma State, and even then them going to that game is no guarantee.I haer you I hope it is a great game so far the Ducks just punted. Texas Tech and Texas won the only thing I'm waiting on now is for Oklahoma to win so I can see how they will handle the three-way tie. They said it will be based on higher BCS ranking so far Texas has it.
I can tell you why I think Dirk Koetter didn't and Dan Hawkins hasn't done as well at ASU and CU, respectively, as they did at Boise State. It's as what Lee Corso often states on "College Gameday" - (I'm not sure about the % but I think his point is well made) 80% of games are won by the coach with the more talented players. Over the last decade, or so, Boise State has appeared to amass more talent in football than its WAC counterparts. Arizona State has good players, but it is NOT head-and-shoulders above the rest of the Pac-10 in talent the way Boise State appears to be in the WAC. Same thing for Dan Hawkins at Colorado. My point? That since the Boise State Broncos appear to have that much more talent than most, if not all, of their foes in the WAC, people assume that Boise State head football coaches are better than they actually are. In other words, when confronted with teams that have as much as or more talent than their teams do, those ex-Boise State coaches were found to be "mere mortals" when it came to coaching. My suspicion is that if Chris Petersen ever goes to a "BCS" conference team, the same thing will be found out about him (don't forget that Boise State lost to the Washington Huskies last year, the same Washington Huskies who ended up 4 - 9 and in last place in the Pac-10).
How do you define talent? I think there are more Fresno State players in the NFL than Boise State players:dunno: I definitely think Boise State has some talent which will be 3rd/4th/5th Rd talent and NFL roster players in the future. If we got on to Rivals.com or whichever recruiting service...I think Boise State and Fresno State get basically the same fringe 2-star/3-star player.
Hawai'i's crappy performance in the Sugar last season hurts Boise's chances this year for the BCS, I'm afraid. I just think Ohio State, under any scenario, is not worthy of a BCS game this season, so if the Luckeyes end up going to the BCS somehow...something is rotten in Denmark and there needs to be changes.![]()
Colorado should be better than they are. I don't know what Hawkins is doing with his recruiting, but each year that CU finishes middle of the pack in the B12 is another year that top talent will go elsewhere.
Look at Miami. There is no reason on this planet that the Canes should ever finish beyond #20 in the Nation. They are struggling to remain relevant today! Is Miami's roster talent light?
UDub is in a bind. They have to hire a flashy name in order to secure recruits and get back into the Pac10 race, but which flashy name is even out there? Brian Kelly of Cincy? Bob Davie of ex-Notre Dame/Texas A&M? I think there are more intriguing head coaching job opptys than candidates this year:1orglaugh
And if the irish get destroyed tonight and they toss the fatman over the side...who will they hire??:thefinger[/QUO
You made some good points but lets face it this is not the early to mid 90's this aint my so called *****'s Miami team for that matter the same with Colorado **** ain't jumpin for these teams anymore I can say the same for Flordia State and I love the Noles'
