It's good to be the king...
395 songs (1.75GB) on my iTunes

6425

about #500 of those are things like audio books or comedy routines(not my own I hasten to add!)

50,000+ at least, although I'm only likely to listen to a couple thousand of these on any thing like a regular basis. I'm a pack rat by nature, especially when it comes to music.

Just out of curiosity.. Do you have them all on CD as well?
Or is it a mixture of CDs/MP3s or just all MP3s?

I'm planning to get a purpose built media centre and stop using CDs altogether.

I probably have about 400 on the computer not including ripped CDs. Becks probably has about 300 songs. We only keep stuff we listen to often.

and everyone legal?.....yeah right, mine are too lol:1orglaugh

i have over a 1000,all legal,comes mostly from my cd's
and some from itunes, but i prefer listening to vynils and cd,s

better quality

Around 20,000, all legal ...

I have around 20,000 -- all legally ripped from CDs (over 95%), a few others legally purchased without DRM (Amazon, MP3.COM, etc...) and a few that were free from the artist. I don't share them.

But I don't share software either (except freely redistributable open source, of course). I pay for software (that is not free or open source) as well.
