You'd have to imagine that she's going to pull an Edge and that an in-ring return is eventually going to be in the cards. Otherwise, like you said, there would have been very little point to sign her. I mean, she just turned 30 and has been resting/rehabbing for almost 6 years. Compared to Edge's return, I'd say it's more than feasible.
If Hart's landing doesn't convince them to get their **** together, nothing will. I'm sure the coincidence between Paige's return and the botch isn't lost on anyone.
More fan footage. What's sad is that you can hear fans pleading to stop the show... which obviously didn't happen.
And this happened on their secondary show as well, like their version of Velocity. The same show where they had one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time (The Great Muta) debut as a *surprise*. AEW is a mess right now.
Good points. But I still think there is a niche for a once-a-year event where every match is "extreme" in some way, so long as every match isn't just a "no holds barred" match. I know some might be really gimmicky (strap match this year), but I think it adds to the variety. And I'm always a fan of the "falls count anywhere" where they go throughout the arena (I really loved the corporate ladder match). First *****, Inferno, etc... there are lots of fun gimmicks to choose from, and as long as there is a basis for picking that match in the storyline, I'm sold.
