They don't call it "the bible belt" for nothing!

Question of opinion.

Probably most liberals have also noticed that Trump is a very different politician than his predecessor.

President Joe Biden is a person who belongs to the old political system.

One can only hope that he does not start new wars in the Middle East.

I think Biden won because the last presidential election in your country was partly a scam.

God does not want to interfere in all human affairs so we must take responsibility for our actions.

One might say, they aren't the leaders the U.S. needs, but perhaps the ones we deserve. :p

Benjamin Harrison ranks high on my list. :) TR is certainly a favorite.

Interesting because President Benjamin Harrison was a Republican and you are perhaps an extreme Liberal?

I literally laughed at that one.

I am so liberal I want equal rights for all. I am so liberal I want the government to work for all of the people regardless of race, gender, wealth, etc. I am so liberal I want my ******** and other people’s ******** to have a great education, healthcare, security, etc.

Not sure what an extreme liberal means to you.

An extreme liberal is a person who hates white people, Christians, Western countries and supports radical Islam.

That is not me then. In fact, it doesn't even sound like most liberals I know. Jesus was a liberal.

Do you think Islam is a religion of peace?
Good question. Islam may be a religion of peace hijacked by some to promulgate their own world view. Extremists use all religions as a reason to commit ********. History is littered with people using Islam, Christianity, Judaism, et al. to **** and oppress others.

Not-so-peaceful history from the "Bible Belt":
I am so liberal I believe people should be able to freely exercise their religious beliefs regardless of my opinion about their beliefs. It is right there in the Constitution, Amendment Number One: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof .." Or does that make me a conservative? I'm confused. 🤯

We always get the ones we deserve. Sometimes we get one we need.

Determining the leaders we need is always up for debate.

TR is my favorite. He would not do well in today’s world perhaps. He was driven and unbending.
The pot of coffee a day perhaps was help drive him.

There is a letter to his friend, I’ll see if I can find it where it’s pointed out that he is really not a Republican. It was a very progressive era and needed to be.

Which one is your favorite president?
TR. I’m a Long Islander, so I’m sure that plays a part.
He walked the line in between Liberals and Conservatives. He was both. He reigned in business, but as Doris Kearny’s Goodwin points out, he wasn’t against business, he felt the government should have more power and control over them. She describes his actions as releasing steam before the pot boiled over.
Comparing contemporary mores is no light thing and while some point to his interactions with Booker T Washington as progress towards equality, he did not believe completely in equality. If over simplified, I think he might be considered a racist today.
He was a nationalist. He was a ***** and did what he believed in.

I also respect Adams(2 and 5, but I mean 2). Not a great executive, but he was a ***** in founding the country. He surrendered his presidency to keep us out of war and I admire that. I think Bush (41) did the same. Surrendered his presidency to do the right think economically. He deserves some create for the economy under Clinton. I think Clinton understood the priorities of economics and knew when not to push, which is brilliant and showed self-controll.

I guess that that was more than you asked for and only the first two letters were needed. Pardon my rambling.

Thank you, it was interesting to hear what you think about the presidents of your country.
