Two days ago, Asami Yuma tweeted that she's being treated for ovarian cancer.
Since then, a number of interviews (which may or may not be official... this is the internet after all) have revealed that she is/was stage 3, has gone through chemo, and has a slightly better than 50% chance of surviving over the next 5 years. The studios she works (Alice Japan, etc.) for have run out of new content and released best-of DVDs again this month. Before this, her agency and others claimed she was taking a break for a variety of things... from exhaustion to having burned her breast with a clothes iron. :crying:
