Yup, we finally decided to take the plung. You can now embed YouTube videos into your posts!

At this time, there is no rules on where you can embed it (like the first post for pictures) so take my advice and don't abuse it.

The tag for this is [youtube] [/youtube] and in the middle you'll put the code for the video. So if I wanted to embed the following video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2g6WDnBjPX0 , I'd choose the 2g6WDnBjPX0 to put in the middle of the tags.

Now...with this new spanky technology you still have to follow the board rules. Don't post videos to things that violate them.

You can also copy and paste the whole embedding code that youtube provides and post it within the forum youtube tags to embed in a post as I have done in the Loose Change Final Cut thread I created. If you don't know what I mean, just quote the video I embedded so you can so the coding that I used

Currently only youtube and facebook video is supported, are there plans to add other services or make it more generic to allow all flash embedded video? Can you perhaps add tag buttons for youtube emeddings which automatically drop in the
