I think its a waste of time but my neighbor told me the check it out because i can meet some people in my area on it. (just moved) So im looking into it a little bit.

I have a Myspace userid, but has only used it for the blog on several occasions. It's currently set for private viewing (invitation only, folks)

I'm even thinking of closing it down - watched a BBC program last week, showing how fraudsters could obtain details from (public) myspace accounts to obtain credit cards in the account-user's name...

From what I have seen of MySpace, it's not something for me. I can't say that I fully know everything people use it for though.

Thanks to all for posting a reply. I was on MySpace for a few months but decided to leave due to the numerous hackers & stalkers. One must change their password frequently to protect their account. The site is saturated with both adware & spyware. It's all sooo vicarious, isn't it?

I always thought and still think it was and is a waste of time that is why I never registered. It is also not a very well secured site and there is no respect of privacy.
