Those old Pioneer receivers are indestructible. As for me I have a JVC setup from the mid-nineties. Dolby surround (theater mode for music) with big ol' Infinity speakers in the front. I could probably blow the plaster off the walls if my wife would let me.
Most of my stereo $$$ is in my car.
Kenwood KDC BT648U head unit, MB Quart QS216 6-1/2" 2-Way Q Series door speakers, 3 JL10W7AE 10" subwoofers in a ported enclosure and a JL HD 1200/1 subwoofer amplifier.
Sadly, one ******* night a "friend" of mine decided that the volume level in the car was not loud enough so he proceeded to crank the volume up to around maximum capacity, the bass hit so violently that the headlights on my car went completely black, I lost a noticeable percentage of engine power, and ultimately 2 of my 3 subs were ripped open in the process.
Should have spent the extra $1.99 for a "Do Not Touch," placard. Dammit.

I have a LG LHB536 surround sound/stereo system for my home and a Pioneer Avic z120bt for my car.

In the whip I have all aftermarket Pioneer (4"x6" and 6"x9"). I have a 500 watt Jensen amp that just blew my 12" Rockford. I have some 12" JBL GTs that I'm told are ridiculous but I've never tried them. I also have two 10" Pioneers I need some partical board for so I can make the box. Those will be installed next as 10"s are as much as I really want/need.
Stereo is a BS Dual brand DVD/CD player with the front USB plug, which is nice. I can sit in my car and watch DVDs if I want on a 2" screen, lol.

L3ggy, I have one. It's a Technics with the strobe light to dial in your rpms. Sucker is nice. However, I don't have any vinyl left to listen to.
