People still play SNES? wow!! I sold mine back in the late 90's to some neighborhood kid...then used the money and part of my savings to get myself a playstation.

But my fav. games from that era were MKII, NHL Hockey, Doom and Madden....97?

The SuperNintendo represented a time when Nintendo's own games were all epic. I think Super Mario World is the greatest game of all time (personal opinion). Zelda, Metroid, the first 2 Donkey Kong games.

But some great 3rd party games were Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, MK2. Most of the Spider-Man games were cool. Killer Instinct. TMNT: Turtles in Time.

never liked any mario games, IMO i felt the SNES was a kiddie system with kiddie games,none that i would play.
IMO though not running down the OG poster or the system. just not my cup of tea- My sister had it though
