Demolition of ITT Microwave Tower
Tower was built in the late 40s, and demolished in 1996, the year I graduated high school. Until it's demise, was the tallest building in Essex County (which includes Newark).

Yes, good answer!
And no, I was raised a few miles northeast of the bridge. But the Bridge was important to Arnhem, because till the early 1980's, it was the only bridge connecting North and South. Now Arnhem has 3 bridges.
