You mad?

I saw a poll a couple of years ago that conservatives are generally happier than liberals. And of course the sneering commentary from the left was "ignorance is bliss" or variations on that theme. But just based on my personal experience living in a deep blue state and surrounded by these people, those on the far left are generally miserable. They're always angry and up in arms about something or another. Envy and hatred will eat you up. So your life sucks. How is making someone else's life suck going to change that?
