I talked to her manager she makes 1200 to 1500 per day of shooting. so lets say she shots 1 day a week we will make 80,000 to 100,000. If she shoots 2 days a week she will make 160,000 to 200,00 and so for. I don't think people can make a million dollars from strait porn. If they are smart they will d things to make money outside of shooting. Like owning your own site and getting money from subscriptions. I also think you can make quite a bit of money from endorsements. If memory serves me the high end porn stars make more money from endorsements and appearance than they ever did from porn shoots.

no it's 1200 to 1500 fro a 8 hour day of shooting. From my tale she woudl show up you woudl pick wardrobe, and then go to makeup. The sex and shots woudl begin and then. If it gets rough or something other than b/g she charges more. Also if it gets above allotted time then they charge more. It was all really professional and I forgot we where talkign about sex. There was even time for reviewing papers and contract and such.
Lets just assume that's right. I don't know if her manager would be in impartial person to ask to find out the truth. In any case, what needs to be keep in mind is that the majority of women in porn no longer make $1500 a shoot, even a lot of the higher end people. I might even say nearly all of them at this point, but somebody might know better than I do on that as I'm not a complete expert or anything. Those days are past, at least for the foreseeable future. It's also harder to get work once a week than it was in the past. Even in the past making over a million in porn was a rarity only the very top people would get and that involved a lot of luck.
Even counting things like dancing, it's hard to say on an individual level. It takes a lot of work even at that unless one has an especially good gig or a good round of places they can travel to where people pay them lots of money, which does happen for some people, but I imagine a lot of strippers don't make cash year after year after year as something that's so consistent they can always rely on it where they know they will continually have great job security. Something else that needs to be considered is that 5 years is practically forever in porn. Think off all the people, even the people that made it to the top, or where at one time the "It Girl" or the flavor the month or year or whatever else at that time and are no longer around. It's quite a lot. Assuming somebody can last 5 years at the top, even people that one would normally think are that good, is a very tenuous and shaky thing in this industry, and it relies on luck as much as anything.
I also an not counting things like escorting, but that carries with it a bunch of other baggage than even being in porn does, other than the fact it has plausible deniability with it and you don't film you screwing on camera for the whole world to see, which are it's only advantages. It's not exactly the greatest of things to do for a lot of people, and it has a lot of downsides. Even the vast majority people that ****** don't have a long shelf life, if they ever get to that point where they are the ones making the huge bucks at it most of them are the ones that do so because they also got notoriety performing in porn so even the advantages of not needed to be in front of the camera aren't there.
Even with that said, lets say somebody does make a million or two in the industry because they are very good at what they do and are popular, or they do other things that bring in the cash related to the industry. Well then they have a problem. They will probably have a hard time going out and getting a normal job after that baring having friends in the industry that will give them a job in the industry (and there are only so many of those to go around), especially in the day in age of the Internet, from the stigma they have from porn that carries on with them. Sooner or later other people that are around them WILL find out, unless that person is very lucky. They can't just go and get an office job like some regular person after that, for example. Working with the public for some regular business out there is even more unlikely and unpalatable to a business that would want to hire somebody. Maybe they can get a significant other, or maybe even a sugar *****, to live with, but that carries with it problems of not being independent and needing to rely on that person for their well being from then on.
Somebody might have been one of the best in the industry and made a couple million, but now that million or two has to last a loooooong time. If you take what a middle class person will make in their life and compare it to what most top porn star makes (and remember these are the top ones not the mediocre ones) in a few years it probably isn't that much different, and considering the porn star now has seriously limited her job prospects after porn because of the stigma, fairly or unfairly as it might be, they don't end up ahead and have to live the rest of their life as a pornstar with all the stigma it carries where regular people don't. Add in that a lot of people in the industry don't save worth to damn and blow there money and it can get to be a very ugly situation.
In reality nearly everybody that performs in porn doesn't make that much money at all, probably not nearly as much as a lot of people out there think they do. They certainly aren't rolling around in the cash like say an actress or athlete would that have slightly similar careers in that they are high paying but often short, and the money they make has a good chance of needing to last a very long time for them. Other than the very few people that get lucky, truly like what they are doing and don't care about what others will think about them being in porn the rest of their lives, or the ones that are just greater than sliced bread and can make a crap ton of cash because of it I don't know why, at least from a purely logical and cash making point of view, the majority of people in the industry would ever even think of getting into hardcore porn. Even softcore has it’s problems, but at least with that society is slowly coming around a bit and it’s more excepting of it. The hardcore stuff it will be a long time before that happens yet.

I worked for reality kings in the graphics department and I was able to speak with Ed on the shot with Mariah. He paid out 1200 to 1500 for popular girls. He only shot popular girls every so often. From the calls I have made porn stars make good money or rather have the potential to.
From my talks with the Ed the problem is you can go one month with only 1 gig and the next month with 10 gigs. So people spent like crazy and don't save. Even if you are a pornstar you still need to save and plan for the future. I just think the problem is more along the lines of managers trying to take advantage of people. Tanner Mayes reported not getting all the money she was owed from her manager. The second biggest problem is spending to much.
