xxx filter too strict!

Appreicate that there are some clowns who'll try and ruin things for everyone by posting things they shouldn't, but sometimes the filters are way too stict. For example, I tried to post the following link only moments ago:

Premium Link Upgrade porngalleries/jurassiccock/20110316/freeones.html

And I got this: Premium Link Upgrade

Now, where did I get the link from? Here! Premium Link Upgrade

Not every site that has the words "free" and "porn" next to each other in the URL is a link to a full video/set/other ****** link.

Thanks.

I agree. What is particularly annoying is when you post a link which is OK at the time and subsequently gets caught by the filter.

There is a British site called "Simply Rude" which has both .co.uk and .com domains. I posted some links to this site in the Bridie James thread: Premium Link Upgrade .

The .co.uk links still work eg Premium Link Upgrade , but the .com ones don't, even though they were OK when I posted them, eg Premium Link Upgrade .

I assume that this is because there is a ****** site called rude dot com, but it is absurd retrospectively to ban a completely different legitimate site because of a coincidence of characters in its domain name.

when we do the upgrade to the new board software I hope things like this will be solved. Right now there is not much we can do about it.

Thanks Roald. What's the ETA on the new board software?

I'm already developing the new board extensions, so it might be that the upgrade will be within 2 months, but I can't promise that! Because it's a huge upgrade, I want to make sure that everything will work...
