xvideos "medium"quality downloads

There are lots of 720 and higher vids on xvideos, but the downloads button only offers medium and low quality. Any reason why or way to get the highest res downloads?

You probably have to sign up with xvideos and pay a subscription if you want to watch or download the Hi-res ones. It is sometimes the case with these sites

They are supposed to be sending back dollars to the sites the videos are taken from for HD (720p and 1080p and 4K)

With xvideos.com, they have twice as much -- maybe triple -- the amount of video content than what xhamster has and yes, they advertise it like that about HD quality. But no that is not the case. xvideos doesn't have an agreement like that with content owners. Sure it is misleadiing. But that's how they are. A user can only upload up to a maximum of 540p. Most times, they upload 480p and 360p. That's why they (xvideos) are constantly getting c & d letters from content providers and owners when a user uploads HD 720p or greater, i.e., 1080p and 4K videos. They have to respond to the takedown request. -- You'll get back a message saying, "that the video has been deleted" over at xvideos.com.

If you want the 720p, 1080p, and 4K version - join the original website that the user is using to upload from. Otherwise, be satisfied with the 540p, 480p and 360p versions that xvideos.com has.
