The point is, mojo, that she's unlikely to produce much in the way of new content regardless of what we'd like to see.

I don't know much about Gisele. Her website and name seemed to change very often. I assume that must mean some other person/company controlled her website and some of the things she produced. She is a beautiful girl but time and age are catching up. She hopefully made her $ and is getting out. For the die-hards I'd hope she has the class to be honest and let them know where and what she plans to do with her site. Seems like she has one foot in and one foot out. Stringing those guys along with tease of new material or cam shows.

Gisele has been backing out of the business for @ 2 1/2 years as near as I can tell.

It would be nice to hear the story behind the whole thing but that seems even less likely than seeing new stuff from her.

Spot on, rkyk.

Like Mr. Mojo said, it's sad that she doesn't come clean about her being in or out of the biz, instead of having people paying money into a pretty much dead website, waiting for her "come back".

It's a lack or respect for her loyal fans. She sees them as "money marks" who will support her financially no matter what.

I don't see it quite that way, Mojo, and I don't fault her at all for capitalizing on many years of brand building in a tough, transient business.

It's not like Gisele is extorting money out of anyone. Every one of those "loyal fans" you speak of is free to quit paying out the instant they feel they're not getting value for their $. If some choose to remain out of hope of a revival it's at their own risk.

As I said earlier, it would be nice to get the inside story about her transition from adult modeling to other pursuits but that seems a forlorn hope at this point. She's been a source of refreshment for a long time and it's sad to see it go, that's all.

While it's true that she's not forcing anyone to keep their membership active even though the quality of the product she offers right now is a far cry from times past, I still think that she owes a little respect to her fans. She would've never have had so many years of success in the business if not because of them.

The adult modelling business is a tough one, but that doesn't mean you can take things for granted and treat people like disposable ATMs.

I can honestly say that I took the decision to quit her site and "speak with my wallet" once I saw the downhill path she was taking. And I'm not the only one. I was with her site long enough to see her member chat attendance declined from literally hundreds to just a few souls. All within the span of a year.

So yes, the people has spoken. Maybe that's part of the reason she's pretty much abandoned her site. Maybe It's just not profitable enough anymore. :2 cents:

I don't hold any grudges, though. I wish her well and hope she succeeds in whatever path she decides to follow.

Oh no? What else does any adult model (read stripper) do? And who else involved in these transactions might be taking things for granted, uchual?

There's no satisfaction guarantees here any more than if you go into a casino and gamble. It's pointless to hold the woman we know as XOGisele responsible for the feelings of some consumers of her product because they feel they're owed more than they've gotten lately. Those folks have no recourse but to quit paying up and go elsewhere.

I beg to differ on that. Yes, it's a business transaction, as plain and simple of you wrote. But, again, it's a service type business. And customer satisfaction is the key to success.

Like any business, if you treat your customers like crap and don't give them the attention they deserve...Guess what, plenty o' fish in the pond. The competition is fierce, and you have to have an edge in order to become more successful. Like she did, in years past. Now she either doesn't care or cannot give the full attention to her site, for whatever reasons she only knows.

I agree that people have no right to expect anything, except getting something in return for their money. I guess for some people just looking at old galleries reposted as "updates" and waiting in vain for actual new material is a good return for their $. For many of us, though, it's simply not worth it.

I enjoy hashing things over with you, uchual. We manage to do so without it turning into a hair-pulling contest.

I don't think we're so far apart in opinion, either, at least as it concerns Gisele. We both wish she's have been more forthcoming as to why she chose to fade away rather than leave the business with a clean break some time ago.

Ditto, rkyk.

It is a shame, really. Such an amazing girl, now just fading away in complete silence. Her Twitter account says it all; no posts since Sep 4th.
