X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I just hope they'll have Wolverine's claws as bone at first and not "where adamantium collected in his arms."

I remember back in 7th grade and arguing with some other **** about how Wolverine should have bone claws that are covered with adamantium. Everyone was against me. Flash forward 5 years later and when Magneto pulled all the metal out of him, he gets all hyped up about having bone claws.

If only I had a time machine...

Then again the whole bone claw thing could have just been a retcon after the Magneto incident and the original intent might have been meant for him to not have bone claws. :dunno:
 
Yeah, but what would the non-bone claws be attached to? How would he have ever known all that adamantium was in his arms? Remember, he has his memory wiped and his mind was regressed to a wild ******.

Hmm...I wonder how this movie will end. Will the Hudsons find him? Cameo by Canada's #1 greatest team ever Alpha Flight?

I had that issue too, that was one of Magneto's best moments and one of Wolverine's most painful (besides getting thrashed fighting the Punisher)

I didnt mind the bone claws being around for a good long while after the Magneto incident. It sure made for interesting stories where foes were a hell of alot harder for Wolverine to battle.
 
i saw the trailer before seein the day the earth stood still. it was just simply amazing

In the begining of this trailer they show him as a ***** having the claws so they must be bone!

When I stopped reading comics about 10 years ago (after +30 years of reading them;-) I believe that was the story, claws were naturally mutant bone, metal completely around his skeleton done in Mutant X program, but who knows how many times they have revised his origin since then;-)

With a May 1 release date I'm surprised there's any live action that hasn't been filmed yet, so an Emma Frost TBA is odd. I think Kate Beckensale would make a great Emma Frost! However most of the parts you listed in the 1st post will probably get about 1 minute of screen time, and two lines of dialog.

Nina, are you a Spirit comic fan? One of the best comics ever written, all in seven page stories! I'm hoping the new movie does it justice, but won't be surprised if it falls short.

I think it will do well. I love Frank Miller so I will go see it but I didn't read the comic. I am currently trying to get through The Watchmen right now and I am in love I just started chapter 7 today.
