Using external image hosts is far better than using attachments:

One thread per babe request is also better in a sense because after she has been identified, the thread can be merged (and will be, as soon as someone reports them to be merged) to all of her other threads on the board and people don't get confused between who has been identified and who hasn't if there are a lot of different requests in a single thread.
