No ***** or injuries, he's taking time off to rest up and do other things. The WWE was doing everything to keep him including extending his contract and giving him the championship.

i think they should do this more with all of the guys. give them a break every now and again. to prevent burnout to their bodies and to us on tv.
but it wont happen because guys dont want to lose thier spot in the food chain

That must've been why they reunited so soon, because they didn't want their last match to be versus each other, but as a team.
I agree that guys should get some sorta vacation time-it's staged but very very physical and if you don't have time to let your body heal the damage will be done by the time you're 45 years old. Look at Billy Graham or the Dynamite ***.

The Hardy Boyz reunion was another ploy to keep Jeff. WWE was going to have a "Hardy Boyz Tour" with them becoming the tag team champions again but Jeff was adamant about taking time off after SummerSlam. That's when creative was told to scrap all plans for Jeff and start working on Undertaker's return.
