WWE Raw & Smackdown Weekly Thread

I hope it does mean that Ayatollah of Rock-And-Rolla is making a comeback. They certainly need him. RAW was atrocious this past Monday. The roster has been so decimated, that Vince is having to wrestle two RAWs back-to-back. We shouldn't be surprised though, he and Orton are the only top level heels left.

Totally agree with you about Cena. The only Cena matches I've enjoyed this past year were the ones where the crowds were chanting "Cena Sucks" (And I was chanting right along with them). While I'm not the biggest Orton fan, I certainly hope he gets the title at No Mercy.

Having Kahli as the champion is just like when JBL was champion. Both guys were and are very disliked and it is smart by WWE to give them the title. I only tune into smackdown because I want to see who the next challenger is for the title

Majorly disagree with this statement though. How can you even put the two in the same sentence! Bradshaw was by no means a great wrestler, but he had and still has the best Mic skills of any heel ever. He's right up there with Ric Flair in his prime. So to me he was decent and entertaining champion.

Khali, on the other hand, is a crappy wrestler, was an even crappier champion (he held the belt upside-down on numerous occasions:1orglaugh) and he can't even speak.

JBL was boring all round when he was champion, The only thing I liked was when he had Amy and Jillian with him. Now he is very entertaining as a commentator with Micheal Cole
 
Here is what I think about the whole "Cyber Sunday/Jericho" thing...

WWE is really good at getting people's hopes up.

This is (IMO) a way to do that in a sense. What I mean is, this is probably an advertisement for Cyber Sunday, hands down. There are, from what I can see, Jericho-ish things going on/being said in the promo though. This is going to build up hype for Jericho and get people excited (as you can already see in this thread). WWE will show these teaser ads, but finally show the full advertisement in the near future and reveal that it is, in fact, for Cyber Sunday. This will **** off the fans a little bit, as it is not a Jericho promo. People will start to be like "Fuck this, I wish it was for Jericho's return" but the hype will still remain. Skip ahead a little bit, possibly to Cyber Sunday (ironically)...guess who shows up.

Welcome to...RAAAAW...IIIIIIS...JERICHOOOOOOOOO

Fans caught off guard? I hope so.

Think about though. In the past 5-10 years which heel has consistently cut promos so good, you bought into their heel persona and actually loved to **** them? Tell me JBL is not in your top 5. Top 3 even.

As for Austin, I only enjoyed his promos when he was head of The Alliance. After that they all consisted of:

- The phrases 'Hell Yeah', 'What?' and 'Stone Cold says...'
- 2 middle fingers followed by a Stunner
- Climbing the corners, raising his arms and chugging ****.

i was talking about austin pre-alliance. when he got to drive all those toys. i loved the **** truck skit when he was talking to rock. he said something like "im going to drive up to the smackdown hotel, check right into room 316 and burn that *** of a bitch to the ground!!" :bowdown:

it would be good to see him back,he will have to be in amazing shape,have the best interviews,story lines and matches to remain relivant,imagine him being a champion or in the next royal rumble or even at wrestlemania. hbk is yet too come back aswell,does anyone know where lasley is and how long hes going to be away for?

And I have no doubt that McMahon was pissed after he heard this. Give up one of your big name Divas (for how many months now???) for promo and all you get is two losey episodes. Kind of a waste.

Lashley can't wrestle, Lashley can't cut promos, Lashley is only good for his appearance. If lashley was not as big as he is, he'd be nothing more than another crappy wrestler, which WWE is full of at the moment.

All lashley can do is his spear, which is a lame copy of Edges spear and Rhinos gore. So many finishing moves are exactly the same, just the name is changed. For example the FU and the F5 and hear the name is very similar and I saw Chuck Palumbos finisher, which is pretty similar to the FU and F5
 
the f u and the f 5 are nothing alike. but yea your pretty much right about everything else.
