I had a feeling about this:

Edge and Lita were very uncomfortable with the sex segment on RAW, according to PWTorch.com, although it is unlikely that they displayed too much public resistance to the angle.

The relationship between Edge and Lita never took off, and since the breakup, Edge has reconciled with his wife. Thus, the "live sex" was understandably awkward for the wrestler.

Edge, however, has a reputation for doing what management asks. He did have a limit as to how far he would go with the "sex," but he was not going to reject the angle altogether.

Lita is known as a very private person and has reservations about playing a "slut" character in response to her affair with Edge going public. The sex only further enhanced that character and fused real-life with storyline.

Still if I was Booker T (remember - he's a "five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time" WCW Champion), Chris Benoit or Randy Orton I'd be pissed about now (yes I know they have their own stories and/or titles to resolve, but so did Kurt)....

Determination and loyalty or stupidity?

It's hard to tell. If it were actual compititon I might be inclined twords loyalty just because if he was good enough he would just wipe the floor with the currnet champion when he got back. In profesional wrestling it is easier to believe he is looking out for his character. If while he is gone somebody hits it big and makes him start playing second fiddle, then it ends up hurting him. Like I said it's hard to tell and maybe he just likes performing for the crowd.

Has anyone suspected the reason batista keeps injuring himself is due to steroid use?

Haven't heard that in the grapevine, but its stirred around the back of my head. Especially at his age, using might be the cause, that and the constent Batista slams and the slams to his body etc.

I don't know about that. Performance enhancing ***** have come a long way since their *******. Some of them can actually keep your body from breaking down as fast while building strength and some of them make you recover quicker. Just look at Barry Bonds. Most people think he used them and he is one of the few athletes to get healthier and stronger near the age of 40. Although I think the most effective ones are also the most dangerous, Batista is rich and influential enough to get the very best stuff out there, especially if they aren't going to test for anything. Although the lack of testing might cause somebody to just throw anything in their system because they don't have to worry about any of the non-health consequences of it.

Well said D-rock:hatsoff:

-- Despite dealing with some unusual physical pain during matches, Shawn Michaels has been making indications that he wants to wrestle for several more years. It doesn’t look like retirement will be made part of his plans anytime soon, reports the PWTorch Newsletter.

-- The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Joey Styles continues to get heat from Vince McMahon, whose main issue is that he is focusing too much on calling wrestling moves and not on getting the storylines over. His job as RAW announcer may not be as permanent as some thing unless he impresses Vince.

Vince can't even let the announcers do their job. God forbid Joey Styles concentrates on the wrestling in the match.

I wonder what will happen if Booker win a few more times. He is going to run out of breath before he finishes.

"I am the seven-time, seven-time, seven-time, (starts panting) ...aww screw it, I have just won seven times ok".

If he ever wins again. He may be stuck in the US title division for the rest of his time in WWE, unless they wise up:fight:

With Kurt as the new WWE Champion I can't think of anything better than a Angle vs Benoit feud going into Wrestlemania, They will probably do something with Orton, but Angle vs Benoit would be tremendous

--World Wrestling Entertainment have signed former TNA girl Trinity (Stephanie Finochio) to a contract.

Trinity appeared at the Raw taping last week in New Jersey. She made an appearance on last week's edition of WWE Heat as a plant. The Heart Throbs invited Trinity and another indy girl, Talia, to dance with them in the ring prior to their match. Talia is currently traveling backstage with Gregory Helms as the two are dating in real life.

Trinity left TNA this past summer after being in the company for over two years. She's also done a lot of movie stunt work.

--Trish Stratus became the first WWE wrestler since Gillberg (Duane Gill) to hold on to any single WWE Championship belt for at least one full calender year. Trish has held the WWE Women's Championship since January 9, 2005 when she defeated Lita at the first New Year's Revolution.

--WWE may go into production on a movie based on the life of Eddie Guerrero in either late 2006 or early 2007.

-- Sources within the WWE offices are claiming that due to the Lita-Edge sex segment on RAW, they have gotten the most complaints to their complain department in the history of the company. Vince doesn’t really take these complaints seriously unless they lead sponsors pulling out or problems with USA Network.

Some wrestlers have spoken out saying it was ********* and embarrassing to the business. Just about everyone backstage seems to be upset over it.

The feeling right now within the company is that it was a desperation move, and that it’s just Vince trying to shock people.

My grandfather on my ****** side always loved wrestling. (this was in the 80's) We could never get him to realize that it was all fake. After a while we just didn't have the heart to tell him anymore. He wasn't senile or anything, but it was funny watching an old man that was so adamant that it was real. My *** even took him to see some of events, and he even got to see some of the people back stage at a couple times. He has been dead for almost 20 years, but he lived to the age of 90 and believed it was real until the day he died. Ahhh the memories.

Good news for Batista:

WWE.com has learned that Batista's surgery to repair his torn right triceps was a success.

The Surgery, which was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dogas, lasted approximately one-and-a-half hours. Batista is said to be recovering well and will remain hospitalized for the next several days.

One of my friends was voted female wrestler of the year on the "Online Onslaught" year end awards, she was placed ahead of Trish Stratus. If you want to know more about her I can give you her website address.

BEST FEMALE PERFORMER OF THE YEAR: Dark Angel (Sarah Stock)
1st Runner-Up: Trish Stratus
2nd Runner-Up: Princesa Sujei

Women's wrestling in Mexico was pretty much confined to indy outputs. It existed in AAA, but AAA's in some parallel universe, and there it only seemed liked just the ********* and wives of other wrestlers who participated - if they didn't already exist, I don't know that AAA would be seeking them out. CMLL seemed content to hold about one match a year, and weren't particularly concerned when their champion left to go to AAA (probably just so she could actually get matches.) By the end of the year, women's matches were staples on all CMLL cards, and often wedged onto indy cards because promoters felt they were a draw.

The difference in twelve months was Canadian wrestler Sarah Stock, usually working under the name Dark Angel. She's wrestled in Canada and the United States, and got occasional bookings in one of the major arenas in Monterrey, but was more a regular for an absurdly tiny women's promotion. (Even after the boom, it's not uncommon to hear them reported to have audiences under twenty people.) Despite their minsclue impact on the wrestling world at the time, the fans of the promotion apparently bugged those at 'smart' wrestling magazines to check the shows out, starting in motion a snowball which turned into an avalanche. Magazine's put Sarah on the cover, those magazines sold well, they put her on more magazine covers, those sold well, she started getting booked in more places, she got over more, and the cycle kept repeating until suddenly she found herself wrestling in Arena Mexico. Before the end of the year, she'd been a special attraction multiple times in Arena Mexico, and was in constant demand around the country. It was a case of fame begetting fame, with Dark Angel doing a fine job of making the most of it along the way. It wasn't just her who benefited - her rival Princesa Sujei rose to fame (despite being on AAA TV semi-regularly, CMLL didn't even know she exists till this feud), along with many other female wrestlers. Those who were getting one or two matches per month were suddenly working three times a week; because of one woman's cover photos, her whole division of wrestlers benefited.

She also recently made her debut in Japan and will be on AWE PPV in Canada

he probably enjoyed it the best way possible, it's always better when you think it's real.

-- The feeling right now within WWE is that the Edge title change was a fairly last-minute decision. Nobody really knew that Edge was going to get the title before WrestleMania. Right now it looks like they wouldn’t have taken the title off of Cena if he wasn’t getting so many boos from the fans.

The idea to put the title on Edge is said to have come from Dusty Rhodes.
