It's definitely going to happen. Probably pretty soon too. It will probably kick off in Europe (just like before), this time though, it will be started by civil unrest and rioting due to the economic crises and anger over the influx of muslim immigrants. The governments in Europe will try to put down the riots and protests by force resulting in bloodshed and civil war.

In the U.S., the growing political divide between right-wing and left-wing factions will inevitably become violent. A high-profile assassination (possibly of Obama) will occur, setting a spark on to an already highly volatile powder keg of partisan political division that exists in the country. A vicious cycle of killings and reprisals will start up that will set states against states, neighbor against neighbor, family against family. Anarchy and civil war will break out, the economy will collapse, stores will close, people will be dragged from their homes to be shot in the street. Whats left of the government will attempt to impose marshall law, but the military will mostly fall apart due to soldiers going AWOL in an attempt to get home to protect their families. Liberals will migrate to the Northeast and California. Conservatives will take control of the south and the midwest. Starvation and disease will take out millions. The USA will cease to exist and North America will be a land of self governed states that war with each other on a constant basis.

As Europe and North America burn, China will rise into position as the worlds only superpower, and a new era in world history will begin.

If it's stereo-types we're on about then the comment about wiring a car bomb is void and well a bit silly. I would say yes it will be fought, it will be fought like all wars (kill people and break things), and if history of the last two World Wars is any guide, the good guys will win.

If you're looking for more specifics than that, I used to think the next big conflict could be a three-part deal, where China first sends the No Kos into South Korea, not caring if the No Kos win, but just to test their (the Chinese) weapons and tactics against the US (and to possibly whittle us down some) when we come to help, to then later use that knowledge to attack Taiwan as part two, before possibly moving on to other points of interest, thus making it a World War if the Chinese got ambitious or managed to inflict enough damage to the US.

Now however, I believe it will be Caliphate (which alotta people are talking about happening, even having a meeting on such matters in Chicago at the Khilafah Conference, good luck hearing it reported though) vs rest of the World, as a sort of rehash of WWII, complete with the attempted extermination of the Jews. The ones bordering Israel attack Israel, Turkey and the ones along the Med sweep north into Europe and Russia, while the ones on the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula take the rest of Africa, the ones to the east (all them '-stans' and Iran) head for Russia, China, Mongolia, and India, and Malaysia plays Japan from WWII, and works on Oceania. Israel holds on (unless they get nuked, in which case someone else is also getting vaporized), southern Europe falls (for many reasons) as a whole bunch of people flood north to escape and cause problems for the northern countries (with the influx of people needing food, medicine, and shelter while they try to secure their boarders and prepare to defend themselves), Japan, Taiwan, NZ, and South Korea come to the aid of SE Asia and the Aussies, while China and India are able to defend themselves with their large populations, even with war on two fronts, but possibly with the exchange of a few nuclear devices in both directions. Russia uses chemical (and possibly nuclear) weapons to halt the invasion of their country (or depending on how far north things get and the time of year, winter helps), and help GB help Europe. If the US is still in Iraq and Afghanistan (and odds are pretty good we will be as we're still in Germany), we're forced to pull out (being surrounded) and fall back to Japan, Germany (depending on where our bases are and how far north things are), and GB, to then repeat WWII, except we start in Europe and then move south to north Africa, and the detonation of a whole bunch more nukes by both sides.

I still think the deal with China will happen, but recent events (going back a couple years) have lead me to believe the latter will happen first, then a few years later (or seizing the opportunity while the US is busy rebuilding countries and spread thin) move forward with their goal to take Taiwan. Which would sorta be like what happened while we were in Japan and the Korean War happened. History may very well be repeating itself with WWII and the Korean War.

Well, hey, you wanted opinions on WW3, and that's mine. It could happen (it's happened before), but then again it might not. I don't know. Just giving my opinion as things are now, but things can change.

However, there are alotta people talking about putting one together. Had conferences and everything. And while they might not have the most modern militaries, numbers and desire can go a very long way, especially if they've got nukes and are crazy enough to use them.

Oh, and what 'stagnant beast' are we talking about here? Europe? 'Cause if we are, I see the invading forces making it to the English Channel without too much difficulty or resistance from the 'stagnant beast,' and like I said, a whole bunch of people fleeing north. (I assumed from the rest of the sentence that you meant 'rouse' the stagnant beast, not 'roost.' Unless it has a completely different definition where you are, 'roost' means to settle somewhere for a rest or to sleep, and made for a confusing and contradicting sentence.)

Well, then maybe you should've waited until you were more coherent. And if you think my pointing out a word made a sentence confusing and contradictory is grammar 'Nazism,' I very easily could've called you and a whole bunch of other people on missed commas and other punctuation, lack of or inconsistent capitalization, and a whole bunch of other things that make posts hard to read. I don't because I don't know what level of education people have, or even what language English is to them, and also because someone might try to turn around and call me on a mistake I may make just for spite. Also, I made that comment to make sure I understood what you were trying to convey, to give you a chance to say if I understood it correctly or if where you are it does have a different meaning.

Moving along, the Germans probably could slow them down for a while, but they can only cover so much area and defend against so much for so long. Even with GB having their back this time.
