As much as I understand the school-boy satisfaction in revenge against the 'other team' (having been a school-boy myself), it underscores a big problem in American politics. I will say that, in my opinion, only if it meant legislation passing to abolish the electoral college would I think this is a good thing.

I would file this more under historically interesting (and yes vengence) rather than "cool".
