Would you recognize Jesus if he came back?

The people who lived in his time were short (5'-5.5' inch / 155-165 cm).

But very probably Jesus was a tall person and also slender so he stood out from the crowd.

In most of the painted pictures he has long hair and a beard.

He often also had a shepherd's stick in his hand.

Interesting that a guy whose image was manufactured by a European king, looks European and not Jewish like the stories say.

How would we recognize someone who has no known portraits?

A lamb? What happened to your other pic ...you know, this one you posted elsewhere:

It is often mentioned that Jesus was a tall and bearded man.

There are many paintings about him but who knows which one is the oldest and which one best represents him.

Jesus is often described as a shepherd and she is suitable for many roles.(feminiini)

I give Middle Age artist some understanding when it comes to their depiction of Jesus. A lot of them never even left the area around the towns and cities they were born in, and had no idea what Middle Easterners or ancient Israelites looked looked like. They were just painting what they knew. Ignorance rather than stupidity was their probable motivation for it.

Now people of the modern day that should and have the resources to know better...

We must remember that Jesus was the Son of God and therefore we cannot compare him to the local representative of the population at that time.

Jesus was a tall man and he was very intelligent, so he differed from ordinary people very much.

It is also worth realizing that when he comes back, all sinners will be punished.

That makes sense. I'll have to be on the lookout for tall, intelligent, bearded men walking around town. Do you think any will mind if I ask them if they're divine?

When he comes back to punish us, how is sin defined? If I think of the 10 commandments carved up by Moses plus the 11th he added, then I'm not sure anyone qualifies for redemption. What happens to those who don't know the Big 10 +1? How does their case get adjudicated? There are 8 billion people on the planet with about one-third being christian, one-quarter Islamic, one-seventh Hindu, etc. Does he have a preference for Catholics or Protestants?

When Jesus comes back it cannot happen unnoticed.

It is the day when sinners get punished and good deeds are rewarded.

God knows no religion other than Christianity.

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

(John 14:6)

You're saying god only recognizes 1/3 of the world's population? What about those who have never heard the good news?

There is only one true religion and it is hard to imagine God changing his mind.

Those who belong to other religions are welcome among Christians and it only requires that they admit that there is only one God.
