I've already seen the Hawks win 2 Stanley Cups in the last 4 years so naturally I'd take the Olympic gold.
Not that it's ever going to happen... fucking Canada.
Side note: I'd take a Cubs World Series victory over everything. Seriously, I'd happily watch my other favorite teams have losing season for the rest of my life if it meant the Cubs won the World Series once. I've already seen a Colts Super Bowl victory, watched Purdue play in the Rose Bowl, saw the Hawks hoist Lord Stanley's Cup twice, and watched my favorite driver win the Indy 500 twice. I'm good on sports moments. There's really only one more left that I care about.

That is a hard one. But, having just seen my country win gold in the Olympics, it was pretty damned thrilling.
However, it would likely be bigger international news if the Leafs every managed to win a cup.

Olympics is a big deal, but I also love the Blackhawks doing so again...Something about national pride would be helpful 
I'd take another Wings cup over a canadian gold. National victories just aren't the same. Rooting for your team every day of your life and having them hoist the cup is one of lifes greatest joys. Cheering for your country for a couple weeks every 4 years just doesn't build the same excitement.

I bet it does before your Cubs pipe-dream comes true. What is it?? 106 years and counting? Not likely to happen this year either, wouldn't you agree?? (although I do like a lot of their young prospects)
Probably my favorite NHL team The Blue Jackets because I haven't seen a pro sports team I root for win a championship and if Cleveland can't do it why not Columbus.

There is no chance of team GB ever winning a gold in ice hockey in my lifetime. So it has to be a Stanley cup win for the Rangers. Although they may also never win one again in my lifetime :1orglaugh
