Would you pay for free content?

Yes, I know free and pay shouldn't go toghether, not ***** yet
I mean if you would pay to keep running a serie that you like by donations.
I have a serie upcomming I'm pretty glad with it as is really original and funny. Since it's kind of strange, I thought it would be a chance to do some testing and give it away for free, but with the option that if you like the first 24 episodes you could support the making of 24 more by paying whatever you want.
How do you see it? I'd really like to have your opinion.

There's a few free things out on the net that I've sent donations to. Some games and some web shows that I love.

I never have and I don't see it happening in the near future. I only make donations to war lords in foreign countries to keep the common folk repressed
