After reading RogueWolf's departing thread, 'Farewell Freeones'; I got to thinking about this.


Would You Mind if your female (or potential female) partner spent as much time on a female version of FreeOnes (i.e. a female porn chat forum with men prominently displayed instead of women) as you currently do?


And to the ladies; maybe you could answer for your partners or perspective partners in your lives.

I wouldn't mind, or care. I'd much rather be with someone that holds a more "enlightened" attitude towards porn, over the "porn is bad because it is and if I find out you look at it we're finished" attitude a lot of women I know hold.

The only reason I would mind is because she doesn't like porn, she doesn't really use the internet much, and definately isn't a member of any forums.

If all of a sudden she liked all those things... I'd be a little confused and wonder why she is doing it.

So no, I guess I wouldn't like her to be a member.

Me? I would be disappointed if someone I was serious about wasn't VERY bothered about me spending so much time on here.

If she was spending as much time as I do and we were serious. I would be very bothered.

You date me, I am enough. If you need to oggle (oogle?) other guys, find someone else that doesn't mind that. And I assume her to feel the same way - more or less.
When I am serious about a women, I don't 'girl watch' anymore. Not because I can't. Because I can if I want. But because I do not want to out of respect for her and I do not desire other women when I am serious about someone.
It's weird. But I just do not.

well, i'd say that I wouldn't mind it at all except for one thing.

the thing is that I'd like her to (and want to) be spending a good deal of time with me.

So what i'm saying is that if I was dating someone right now, then I'd want to be spending the time that I spend on freeone (several hours a day) with her instead.

If I stopped going on here, but she spent the same ammount of time that I do now on her site (let's call it freehungs.com ) and therefor instead of with me, then I wouldn't be too cool with that.

I've been up front with the babes that I've dated. Not only that, but they check out the monthly 'scrips on the coffee table to Hustler and Playboy, if not ask if I have received the new issue yet.

After thinking about it carefully, I can't come up with a reason why I would be upset if a significant other spent as much time on here as I did. In some ways I could see where it might be better if both of the people are on it. It could be something you both could share. That is unless this is a spot where somebody goes to get away for a few hours each day like some people go to the bar after work. Of course if I had a significant other I probably would spend slightly time here in the first place as the free time I have in the day would go down.

I started contributing in the talk forum, and discontinued extensively viewing the pornography, once I got a girlfriend. In my estimation, if I have a girlfriend - there is no need for any type of fantasy. I may add a few more pornography website links here and there but other than that - if I am in a romantic relationship: there is no need to view sections of this message forum.

This all depends on the personal style of people, this is not an exact science. If I was on here looking at pornography a lot, I wouldn't deny a girlfriend the right to.

Watching pornography together: is not the same essence as being an Al Bundy, middle aged type: that sneaks porno mags into your house.

My bf has been a member of freeones for a long time, I've always known about it and for the most part it doesn't bother me, a few times I felt a little jealous when he would spend alot of time here, but that was because a couple of forums I used to go to were shut down and I didn't really have anything to do online and I was bored, so he invited me here lol

I don't mind that he looks at porn, I like to look too, we both get turned on and take it out on each other
I will admit that I do avoid certain threads that he may post in that involve -things you want to do with your favorite porn star- or similar topics because in the past I have read things he posted that bothered me a little but I don't want him to feel uncomfortable about anything he posts or not be himself because I'm here, so I just stay out of those types of threads.

As for how he would feel if I went to a porn forum for women, I really have no idea.


I do want to add that I have alot of respect for Roguewolf, and I think his wife is very lucky to have a man who can identify a potential problem in the relationship and do something about it before it becomes a big problem.

I tend to checkout Freeones when My Lady is at Work or out with her Friends... On the rare occasions that I am online when she is home, she usually comes in for a look with me.

She rarely goes online herself and when she does, its to shop or communicate with her family in Switzerland.

She has no problem with me being a member.
