No. I see little difference between the two professions. Not because of the sex but because I believe there is something very wrong with everyone in the biz or on the street.

I dislike bigotry, which is exactly what you have demonstrated...one person can do the same job as another, and yet have a completely different mindset...yet you have decided that both are screwed up.
The most awesome woman I ever met was a topless dancer when I met her...we didn't hook up due to geography, in the end...but I adored her, and would have gone the distance if things were different.
I have also known sleazy drug sucking low-lives who were in the same biz, and to know them was to loathe them.
I wait until I have some input before I form an opinion of someone, unlike the standard bigot.

Of course, that leaves only virgins and repressed leftover other guy's girlfriends to marry...I prefer a woman with some experience in relationships and getting down.
And most ladies won't tell you about all their sex experiences anyway, so there is merely a difference of philosophy between a pro and a "good girl" who has had boyfriends and lovers.
I prefer a beautiful female who can see my obvious superiority over all other males, and is devoted to me! Not much to ask for, imho!

I voted for Wouldnt matter as long as we loved each other, but it could hardly happen, I think. I tend to be very suspicious to the people and to think that the sex industry may ruin human character too easily - more eassily than some other branches, I'd say. On the other hand, I wouldn't care if someone looked down upon me due to having seen my wife in a skin flick.

If you think only of your own lifestyle, when you consider another person, their good qualities may not be obvious to you.
It seems as though most people either don't respect women in the sex industry for their promiscuity, or for their sinful ways.
Yet, we all want to see them, desire them, and have them.
Any woman who uses her body to make money is no different than a carpenter or ball player doing the same...except, that it takes a strong personality to keep it goin' when there is a social stigma on your profession, hypicritical as that may be.
So, I have a lot of respect for a person in modeling, vids, or escorting, who does their job well, and keeps their shit together. And I'd love to hook up with that special someone I met on Twisty's!:bowdown:

Thank you for the reply, my friend, actually, I hate the narrow-mindedness that some people judge the women in the sex industry with as well and personally I don't think that the social stigma on the pornstars/prostitutes may establish my own point of view... On the other hand, a lot of pornstars, whose biographies I have read, have had once or repeatedly drug or legal problems (and I must admit I am far from wanting to be involved in something like that, I like my quiet life style too much), and concerning the prostitutes, I know some who live in my neighbourhood and none of them misses an opportunity to steal, lie or swindle - even their own friends and families. I know it can hardly be taken as a general truth, but it is difficult to avoid mistrustfulness if my experience doesn't show an opposite example. This, and not their way of making money itself, urges me to be guarded.

I don't really know. I can't say that it wouldn't be a problem to me, but I really don't know whether it's something I could live with. It would probably also have to do with the kind of pornstar/prostitute. Is it some famous pornstar where your family and friends have all seen her movies and pictures, and will your children end up seeing it? Is it some mainsteam pornstar or someone doing all kinds of weird/sick stuff, including some things that may be illegal somewhere?
About the prostitute, is it some classy and expensive one, or someone working on the streets?

I honestly can't tell without knowing more about the situation and then again, I'd probably have to be in such a situation to really know how much I could accept.


Regarding how pornstars seem to be more popular than prostitutes, that's kind of weird in a way, since many pornstars work as prostitutes when not making movies. :dunno:

I like to watch all sorts of things I want no part of, like prison movies. It’s not bigotry to not want anything to do with a girl that’ll rent out her crotch (never mind she was probably abused as a kid and or has a drug problem). Topless dancing isn’t turning tricks, though either one isn’t exactly a plus on the marry worthy card. I watch a prison movie, not to feel like I'm in prison, but to enjoy the drama; I watch adult movies to enjoy the sex...not lookin' for drama.

A basic sex for marriage relationship secures a girl's future, and believe me it's a job. Married women rent their crotch in a different arrangement,that's all... the only real difference is when caring is involved.
It's the person I care about, not what they did or do for a living.
You can feel as you wish, but either lusting after a woman out of wedlock is sinful, and sex before marriage is, too...or you are here to enjoy someone's body they got paid to show, and you may have had sex with a girl or two...which means you don't think it's really wrong, unless someone else does it.
Either way, I assure you I'm not PC, just a less judgemental person who enjoys women, and whether she's a rock star, a rich girl, or a porn star, I don't really wanna know.

i have known a few people who have... i found it hard to understand at first but if they love each other then i couldnt see the problem.

For me, well if i fall in love and that is what they do and they love me... fair play to us and i would not have any problems.

But then again, when problems arise....we will get to them when they come.
