Would you abandon your pet?

I love my dogs dearly.

But in the event of an emergency speifically a tornado or hurricane coming through, sorry Laika and Cesar you're on your own.

But they're outside dogs anyway, but when the storm passes through I'd do my best to look for them.

Well, if you leave your dogs to walk around while unable to come home, the JBTs would probably just kill them the way they did in N.O.

I love my cat, really... but if my life was in real danger, i would'nt want to die because of my cat...

I would like to say no I would'nt leave my pets behind, but if it came down to saving my boys over my pet My kids would go and I would stay with my dog and cats try to save us all. If I failed at least I know I would'nt die alone, I would have them by my side.

You would or would NOT throw your animals in a river? By saying "fuck you humans," I'm afraid you've got me all confused. lol :dunno:

if there is a line of people waiting to get on a bus which is full of dogs then the pets got to go. I love my dog but people come first.

This should in no way be a animal vs human life thread... Please re-read.... Just a note worthy comment on the value of animals in time of distress...

No, I wouldn't leave a pet behind if at all possible. As always there are exceptions to everything, as some previous posts show.

I don't agree with legislation on the topic. We have enough laws on the books as it is. At times it's a nightmare enforcing them. Being an L.E. I speak from experience.

What is an L.E.?

I never heard anyone refer to him/herself as an "L.E." I guess I could see "L.E.O." (law enforcement officer), but L.E. just isn't intuitive at all. lol He should have just said cop or sheriff or deputy or whatever to make it more clear. lol

So, what is it, Colonel? I've got warrants -- don't come arrest me! j/k ;)

Well if that happens then there's nothing I can do about it, I can always get another dog.

But I live in a rural area nearly 2 miles from town and I live half a mile off any paved roads. So they have acres and acres, none of it mine but still acres and acres for them to roam.
