Worlds' Tallest Building Set To Open In Dubai Monday!

Are there any poor people in Dubai or is it the gathering place for all that is gluttonous and evil?:dunno:

Dubai slowly turns into all the other cities like New York, so probably there is both of them

Dubai is kind of split into two halves.In the area West of the Dubai Creek,
you have all the big hotels and the rich Sheiks holiday homes.But if you go
towards the old town and the gold souk (East Side) - the area is more like
Beirut.When I was there I preferred the poorer part because the places where
all the rich folks were hanging seemed like Disney World and kind of lacked
originality.Although the poor folks are mostly from the Indian Sub-Continent as
they make up the cheap labour for building the fancy-dan towers.

I would recommend anybody to visit the place,but it's not a place where
I would go back to in a hurry

That was a pretty crazy fireworks show. I am sure it would have been cool to be there
