World Series Memories anyone?

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
As a lifelong Red Sox fan, I remember the disappointment of 75 and 86. So 04 was really sweet. I kept my kids awake to watch as Foulke tossed to first for the last out. 07 was great as that team was just solid top to bottom. Best Red Sox playoff moment had to be knowing the Sox were gonna win Game 7 in NY on 04. Damon hit the grand slam off the foul pole...

1984 Tiger's Vs. Padre's. Goose Gossage is on the mound for SD, Gibby is at the plate. Dick Williams, the Padre's manager is on the mound talking to Goose about walking Gibby. Sparky Anderson is telling Gibby that Goose doesn't want to walk him. Here comes the pitch. Flyball to deep right field, it's LOOOOonnnnngg Goooonnnne. The start of the Gibson legend for dramatic World Series home runs.

Bless you boys.

Twins, Twins, Twins. Pucket in '87 and Jack Morris in '91 in the "greatest game 7 in baseball history" at the HHH. :hatsoff:

Only world champion team we have: all the rest (Queens, Northstars/Wild, Timberwolves) have zero.

Now they are going to stay forever because we have Target Field! :hatsoff:

1969, the Amazin', Miracle Mets beat the Orioles (109 wins) 4 games to 1. Agee's two great catches in game 3, Swoboda's great catch & JC Martin's bunt in game 4 and the "shoe polish" incident in the game 5 finale.

1990 World Series. My Reds swept Shayd's A's. I was at game 2.

Yeah, I remember that too. I was at Game 3, and Game 4, and remember people crying on all sides of me when it was all said and done. I was pretty bummed too, for a good six months afterwards.
