I'm a geek/nerd but I do not play WoW. I do however play the other Warcraft games.
However, for some reason, I am kind of wanting to check out Star Wars: The Old Republic. Though I doubt I will. But who knows.

I used to play but I gave the game to my cousin because I never played it.
I just started Wow but I am stupid so I used my cheat engines speedhack to see if it works and now i am locked. Which is not fun.
I was a die hard WoWer for years. Started about 6 months after launch but gave it up about a year ago.
Got tired of the endless gear grind. You do the same instance 60 times before you get that pair of gloves you need then presto...a new expansion comes out and you have to do it all again!!!

Tempted to top up mine again. But the intense gear grind as been gone since the burning crusade. Now in lich king far more badges making getting gear far easier in fact lots of folks running about in tier 9 its annoying used to have to raid as in you know if you put the hours in you had the shit....Now every nab has the shit.
PS> Raiding has suffered alot too cause of it. Alot of the hardcore element got bored or didnt like that dung and quit. Now its all guys who couldnt raid a granny, Before I packed it in went to a VOA 25 man pug and the morons couldnt do the first boss but instead of getting there shit together they all started QQing and raid fell apart. A normal occurance now.

Maxmandius holy draenei paladin level 80 Ghostlands EU some lich king crafteds and epics from the dungeons. Had quite a few tier 6 and MH/BT trash drops before that. TBC character, when I started.
Nexmortis human frost tanking dk full tier 7.5 valourous scourgeborne frost spec gear and full 7.5 dps gear level 80 Ghostlands EU
Various PVP pieces for pally and dk
Naturalwrath night elf druid level 75 Ghostlands EU
Horde
Borric orc shaman levelled just before I stopped playing got some epics from lich king dungeons
Brother still plays though if you ever rock ghostlands eu,(Vindication battlegroup worse in europe) highly unlikely you can say hello to Jzebelle blood elf paladin and his level 80 orc warrior hellscreamz

Played in the past, but I just don't have time for computer games at the moment. I'm lucky if I log into EQ2 once every week for a few hours.
I play now and then on Ravenholdt. Haven't been on in months. Depends how busy I am with irl stuff like porn. Lately, very busy. I keep up with it on YouTube though. I enjoyed the footage of the lich king encounter.

i started when it first came out, even in the beta, and played up until lich king came out. so i think i played WoW about as long as a person has a right to. just kind of got tired of it after that. its not the same game i started out with and i'd probably suck at it now but for a while it was raiding every other night and pvp'ng on the other nights and grinding in between. and the occasional kiting teremus to SW so his AoE would kill innocent lowbies lol....good times
i had 6 lvl 70's i gave to my nephew. 3 horde (shammy, rogue, lock), 3 alliance (warrior, pally, mage). i think the old instances were the best with the exception of black temple and ssc. i dont know anything about the lich king instances though, so maybe those are the best now?
btw the whole sticking to just one faction is kind of dumb....if youre paying for a game why not enjoy all aspects of it? seriously, have you ever bought a pizza and say we can only eat every other slice? i've played both sides, neither are superior despite what anyone says. both have their plus and minuses. if you dont play horde then youre missing out on some cool quest lines and if you dont play ally then well...good for you...no seriously lol, there's some cool ally quest lines as well.
i do miss Blackheart in shadowlabs though. it was the one time could one shot a party member with my evil rogue lol. i miss my rogue too i guess
