Workers discover 18th century ship buried at World Trade Centre site

Sooooo, does this mean they will make the place an archaeological dig site and preserve it for years?

Doubtful. The ship would be the oldest thing in the area, by far - under it would only be riverbed. Whatever was built over it later on was probably razed when the World Trade Center was constructed.

However, it does all make sense to me. The terrorists had planned this a long, long time ago. Back when this ship, let's just call it The Black Rock for the hell of it, was sunk way back in the 1810s or so, the terrorists filled it to the brim with TNT. Then, the location of the ship was "lost"...but not really.
You see, Nixon knew exactly where it was - he even sent a couple of his young aides over to Saudi to confirm the location of The Black Rock.
After conforming the location of The Black Rock, plans for the construction of the Twin Towers was begun.
Oh, one more thing...the name of those two Nixon aides I mentioned earlier? Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.
It is so obvious, I am astounded no one else has come up with this.

That's it. I' disappointed I expected a few dogs maybe a fish or a replica of the first death star.

Hey, that's not fair. She definitely counts as a dog. :yesyes:

PirateKing is probably upset. I'm sure he was looking for a good intact ghost ship he could take over.

The Army of Anubis will batter the U.S. of A back to the stone age!

They seem pretty tough and look scary, but I have to question the strength of an army that's able to get beaten by Brenden Fraser.
