Woman sues owners of dog killed by her pit bulls

TEXAS CITY, Texas (AP) — A Texas woman whose four pit bulls entered her neighbors' yard through a hole in the fence and killed their 10-year-old beagle is suing them for $1 million.

Emerald White says in her lawsuit filed this week in Galveston County district court that she was "seriously injured" on Oct. 27 trying to stop the attack and retrieve her dogs. She says she suffered "multiple serious bite and scratch-type injuries" and accuses her neighbors of failing to securely confine and restrict their dog, Bailey.

White also contends she's feeling "conscious pain and suffering and now suffers also from fear, anxiety and trepidation."

God. Damn. It. It's shit like this that makes me realize that we need a Texas face palm smiley. This nuisance lawsuit shouldn't even see the inside of a court room but it probably will. I hope someone sees how batshit crazy this is and nixes it immediately.

I think she's pretty lucky...if it would have been my pet, every dog she had, would be done....if I had to do it myself. This cunt is a stain on the world, and the owners of Bailey, should file a counter suite for 5 million. A mill per doge, and one for the waste of life that owns them. He should request each doge be destroyed, and that she be forced to watch them die, through a window, so she can't offer the animals comfort, then she should be forbade to ever own another animal again...not even a gold fish

Later it mentions "Bailey" as one of the dogs.

Bailey's owner, Steve Baker, told The Galveston County Daily News (http://*******/1xrtxoU ) that everyone was telling him to sue White but that he didn't because it wouldn't bring Bailey back and the police declared her dogs dangerous.

I had to read it several times to understand it. Plaintiff owns 4 dogs that got into the defendant's yard and killed defendant's dog Bailey. Plaintiff was injured yanking her dogs off the dead Bailey. The woman that owns the 4 attacking dogs is suing the dead dog's owner. Yes, it is that fucked up.

I like dogs (all animals, really), but four (or just one) pit bulls in my yard, attacking my dog, simply says why I keep more than a couple high capacity magazines fully loaded at all times. I worry more about coyotes. But an AK with a 30 rounder works equally well on pit bulls, I'm sure.
