Me too!! I still have my Super Famicom Adapter too and a huge collection of SFC games that I bought for 100 yen ($1) each. Good times.
I'm actually playing all the SNES games on my 3DS now though, as it works pretty well!

When they do bring out the Retro SNES, I'm skeptical whether they'll apply the lessons from the mistakes they made with the NES, or just repeat them.

Limited releases.. gotta love em. Makes them that more special and pisses you off just that much more. The scalpers should burn in a terrible place for flipping them online for tons of money. Scum.

I ended up not getting a classic NES. The whole situation soured with me over time, and even if I could have found one I probably wouldn't have got it. Not being able to put more games on the device was a major negative for me, but also how Nintendo handle the whole situation was stupid. I doubt I will get any classic SNES either.

If they add the option for external media, the pirates would have a field day. Sadly, this is a case where shutting off the options serves the product a little more respect for what it is.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to load games onto it, but it just wouldn't work. Hanging on to a thread of purism here.

Hackers hacked the NES classic so you could add more games to it, but I'm more likely to get a pet baby unicorn than one of those so it's a moot point.

I'm going to try to pre-order the SNES classic as soon as it's offered. Hope it has Super Punchout, Star Fox, Super Empire Strikes Back, Pilot Wings, Act Raiser II, and a longer controller cord.

Same here. I even have a couple of those pricey ones. Link to the Past and Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2. Great games. My favourite system of all time
