It’s a business and like all capitalistic businesses the objective is to find where the demand is and make money from it. If there is a lot in porn stores it’s because they sell a lot. There is no way more women look at porn than guys. Then how do you explain the membership here? I would say it is about 95% guys here. As for why there is so much anal porn and why people do anal, see the homophobe's thread.

You are absolutely correct! Producers are intelligent money making people. It is a business for many and they do know, based on sales, what is hot and selling. Several of you on here do not seem to be the ones buying said DVD's but clearly there are MANY who do. As long as people buy, they will produce.

As far as women vs. men watching porn....come on guys we ALL know that the percentage of men is higher. Much higher! It does appear however that women are slowly catching on to the visual delights that adult movies and sites can offer to their sex lives. I hope that for more couples this trend continues

I can remember in my youth, must have been around 1980, when even discussing things from erotic or pornographic material (I read Emmanuelle and the Story of O at sixteen and could see some softcore erotic movies at late night on tv) was a no-go.

In the nineties I had girlfriends who were eager to at least watch a porno movie, and 9 1/2 weeks really kicked a door open.

Now there are many young women who are really open to try many things, sometimes a little too much for my taste.
