Actually, I once heard a theory that fruit cakes stopped being produced about 50 years ago. All the ones we see today are just the same ones that have been re-gifted year after year since the 50's. Sounds somewhat plausible to me.

There is a company called the Oberweis Dairy here in Northeastern Ill and they make what is without a doubt the very best Eggnog I have ever tasted(and I have tasted a lot). If it would ever be made year round I would weight at least 500 lbs. Talk about the Nectar of the Gods.

I've tried it and it doesn't work for me.
It's really weird because even though I can't drink normal milk I can eat ice cream and mozza without any problems at all.
I'm pretty sure they make lactose-free eggnog but I'm never able to find it.
