It tastes OK but I get a stomach ache from it.
Is there such thing as a low fat Egg Nog ? :)
I seriously could not enjoy this seasonal drink in, say . . . June, while out on the beach, for example. Every time you'd take a sip you'd be thinking -> :Cold Weather • November- December • Turkey • Saint Nick • Asshole relatives:

Question;

" Why don't they sell egg nog all year?"

Answer;

It is made from elves cum, each elf has to store up a year's worth of "NOG" before unloading into a 1 quart container, from there is has to be pasteurized, repackaged and sent to the local grocery store. The high fat content comes from the elves diet of Mr's Clause's cookies and the evil children Santa forces them to eat.

Next question please.

I had to look up this "Egg Nog" you all were ever so delightfully talking about, we dont have it over here in merry old England I dont think, but from what the almighty god Wikipedia says, it sounds nice.

:dunno::hatsoff:
Maybe it exists in England and is simply known as something else over there...

That's just nasty. I'm gonna try to not think about that next time I decide to have some :yummie: egg nog!

Maybe :dunno:

I've never really looked, but ive never heard of anyone drinking it over here. The only place I hear about it is US TV shows, maybe it was here in the past, but as I say, I have no idea :hatsoff:

Well, if you truly do live in England you could find out if you really are interested. I mean, it wouldn't be that hard to ask an employee (perhaps an older one) the next time you go to a grocery store (or whatever you folks in England call those) about it, would it?

I don't find egg nog to be all that exciting a topic for discussion, either. Now, women with :boobies:, on the other hand...

Well you and me differ....

although I also find "the nog" quite dull, but its the only topic that keeps popping up blue so here I am.

Waste a few posts, blah blah blah and then like that he's gone.

:eek: They don't have egg nog in England?!? What kind of uncivilized, savage country is that? :eek:

FYI - Egg nog was invented in England. Traditionally, instead of rum (which was an American addition to the drink), wine was used in milk/alcohol mixtures in England. I'm not positive of how to say it or spell it, but I believe egg nog is often called "drysack posset" in England.

So...suck on it. :tongue:

In the UK we have Advocaat.
Eggnog is believed to have come from East Anglia, where I live, so perhaps that's why we used to have is at Crimble Tide.

Well then that puts the kybosh on all the bullshit ive posted over the last couple of hours. Sir Chef of ChiTown, if you would be so kind as to wip it out I would be gladly obliged to phillate you. :bowdown:

Dry Sack Posset??? Still never heard of it :dunno: But maybe I just lead an extreamly sheltered life and I need to get out there and live a bit more, drink a bit more Dry Sack Posset and blow a few more guys, who knows :D

Im actually having second thoughts about bringing the whole thing up in the first place!!!!

I like Dry Sack Posset. Also like to "bring it up" after I swallow some by sticking a finger in my throat, and spitting it back into my cup. Totally adds to the flavour.

Nothin like a folic acid dry sack posset drink on a cold winter's eve.

It taste nasty enough that I think the only time of year people can irrationally stomach it is during the holidays and that's because of tradition. It just wouldn't be profitable making it any other time of the year. Now why they even bother to make fruit cake anytime of the year, I have no idea.

I love eggnog but being lactose intolerant I can’t really drink it.

Eat a Lactaid (or generic equivalent). The stuff really works. I am intolerant also, but I take the tablets daily as I LOVE milk and dairy.
