Why doesn't the left appeal to excellence?

There are two ways to answer OP's question: "Appeal to excellence?"

The left wants to bring everybody within the same sphere of equality. They have childlike ideals and it shows in their wonder for the new, and lack of foresight. The issue is that they annoy you, never win and you cant see that tax raisings to pay for 'everybody else' is kind of a thing.. if you gotta wait in line for an hour at the BMV, for a crappy example. *shrug* They see it, the right doesnt. "You cant tax a society into greatness." but if you have public services... You Might wanna pay for 'em. Just sayin'.

The problem is also one of ideals. If you want an equality-ridden utopia, you are going to have to use communist ideals. The people are by and large very agreeable about the whole thing as a cool pipe dream where nobody needs money, everybody has a job and expression is allowed... but, as Utopias must go.. what about that 1% on top? Gotta bring 'em down.
As Picasso said, "The Urge to Destroy is Also a Creative Urge", the expression needs limits, and you cant force anyone to work. B.B.B...BUT but then you got the absolute contradiction that if you want to LEAD the people into a communistic society.. then by definition, you are not a commie. To strive to be above is grand. Until you reach it.

Which is the same way the left sees YOU. Life is precious until it is born.. then fuckit.
Anywho, the whole thing balances out. The scale wobbles from left to right. That is just nature, man. Find your excellence where you can.

"Excellence" is a bigoted construct according to them. Why they award participation trophies or don't keep score. They are all about envy, hatred, suck and shit.

It's endemic of the far right, they believe they are anointed, that everyone else isn't just wrong, but inherently evil, they wave the flag the hardest but are the least steeped in American ideals, it's that last grasp of the old guard unwilling to accept others, unable to fade away.
