Why do you have a computer?

I bought the computer when I was in school... obviously, the main reason I bought the computer was for school work. Now, I mainly use the computer to access the internet.

Besides the games I play on it or places like this, the computer is one of the few reasonable ways I can get information, especially since I get even less television channels than in the past. I can go where I want to learn about a specific issue, thing, event, place, or person extremely faster and cheaper than any other method. I use for for some of the programs on it, like for calculations for example. The world processor is a borderline necessity for me. It's also the only way I can search for a job most of the time. Finally, most of my interaction with anybody I would really consider an acquaintance let alone somebody I might consider a friend is on here.
