Why Do Women Get Breast Implants?

Not just the type of ladies on this board but also women in general. I assume one reason is for people to stare at them. What other reasons?

All of the pictures of the lovely lady in my signature (SJU) were taken before she had implants. Apparently, she thought she could improve upon perfection. She was wrong.

Self-confidence. Some women look at their flat chest in the mirror and think they look too boyish, so they want a bigger rack to feel better about themselves. They just want to look more shapely in a figure-hugging dress or swimsuit. Or they're not happy in other ways - shape, firmness etc. Some have one bigger than the other. Some do it because they think it might help their job prospects if they're trying to get into glamour or porn. Some do it because they want more guys to look at them, I've known one or two girls that did it because they were fed up of losing out to their friends with bigger racks. Some do it because they think it will make their current partner happy, some are (sadly) even pressured into doing so by said current partner. Myriad of reasons.

Pretty much nailed them all. Some do it after they have had a few (or more) kids and breastfed them all and their breasts look pretty much as one would expect. Hard to argue this one although this doesn't mean go from B to DD Cup.

I know were not referring to women who get a Mastectomy and get implants to make them feel feminine instead of being flat chested and looking at stitches instead of something! As is the case with women who breast feed then get implants - hard to really argue this

For the record MOST women do NOT need the implants - they looks great as is before getting them
