I am shooting for accuracy here. As far as primary interest there are exceptions to every rule but the exceptions prove the rule. What's really demeaning is taking people for granted treating them like your owned livestock, blatantly pandering to them acting like you can relate to them while believing that you're conniving a bunch of retards, and giving the desperate false hope then pulling the rug out from under them after you get what you want from them. What a lot of conservatives don't like to face is the fact black americans learned the hard way over the course of generations to be very wary of conservatives.
But instead of owning up to this, what we hear instead are a lot of these gross generalizations and falsehoods about how lazy they are, how they're always looking for a handout, how entitled they feel, how the overwhelming majority are wards of the state, how they just wants to gets them an Obama phone...as rationalizations for why they vote for liberals.
It can't possibly be due to the heritage of conservatism in America - blacks aren't smart, self reliant or insightful enough to vote based on experience and trust - they just want the freebies. It's just the way they're made; made all the worse by liberal pandering. Baloney. While it's true liberals haven't always served them well either, at least their intention is usually good.
PS: Speaking of gross generalizations, I'm still waiting for the holocaust of nationwide riots that so many (including a few at this site) guaranteed were going to follow first the Zimmerman and then the Wilson verdicts...
It wasn't conservative Republicans voting against the Civil Rights Act and hoisting Confederate flags above state capitals it was Democrats.
At least 30 percent of Blacks are on public assistance. Blacks are not inherently inferior to whites intellectually but the ones that strive to excel academically are ridiculed and accused by other blacks of trying to " be white" . It is cooler to be on food stamps and Section 8 housing than it is to receive a college degree. The aspirations are to become a pro athlete or a gang banger because without an education those are your only chances to see any real money.
The unemployment rate is higher among Blacks because of Democrat policies that puts an emphasis on public assistance instead of personal responsibility.
There are plenty of hard working black Americans that don't fall into that category and they work in retail, manufacturing law enforcement, teachers and serve in our military. But the fact remains that at least 50 percent of Blacks believe they are entitled to a living on the taxpayer's dime because this country once owned slaves and segregated them. I understand their resentment but there has to be a point where you strive for more.
Democrat politicians like Al Gore and Hillary Clinton go to black churches and speak down to them. Almost mocking them with the inflection and cadence of their speeches and tone.
If there is a modern day plantation it is the Democrat plantation that throw the black community a few bones whine about systemic racism and hand them a ballot *wink wink* .
The war on poverty and the Great Society are abject failures and are Democrat initiatives directed at Blacks and the only objective was to lock in a segment of the American population
And make sure they and their votes don't stray too far from Massa DNC.
It is not laziness, it is Democrat policies that destroy the incentive for Blacks to achieve in the level they are capable of.
Blacks were the lab mice in the socialist experiment of Democrats. Next are illegal aliens. The beat goes on.

This middle aged white guy remembers The Wilmington 10 hiding weapons and ammo under a church. My little league baseball coach who was a police officer being shot at point blank range with a shot gun and having half of his bowels removed and having to shit in a bag the rest of his life
My mother having both a shopping cart and cinder block hurled into her windshield for just driving to work during Wilmington Riots.
My grandfather's business being looted. Curfews after 6. The Reverend Ben Chavis' crooked ass inciting violence a few feet from my school.
Black churches have historically been used as political platforms not just places of worship. And unfortunately for some like my old little league coach, a place that was used to hide weapons and create violence.

My first girlfriends father being so pissed off that his girlfriend was leaving him, that he shot her, murdered her best friend in front of her two children, than got into a high speed chase with the cops before stopping, and engaging them in a firefight before they gunned him down.
Two of my girlfriends relating to me the experiences of their rapes. One by a friend of her at, that time husband, the other by a family friend when she was 15. Last but not least finding out that one of my old neighbors had spent ten years molesting his own daughters. Thankfully one of them reported it to the police, and he is now in prison.

One of the participants was rewarded for his actions by becoming the head of the NAACP and was ousted in disgrace.
A far cry from the non violent actions of MLK.
