Why do people like Nascar?

This mystery has puzzled me for years. I know I'm not usually the one to make these retarded type of threads but I have to hear opinions on this subject. Don't get me wrong I love fast cars but fuck I just can't stand watching a car drive around the track 200-300 times, its like an endless loop of boredom. Unfortunately I have an asshole uncle that likes to turn off my fucking football to watch that bullshit whenever he visits :dunno: Please discuss!
